music

The German-language e-zine Laut.de describes the music on this album as “undemanding vocal techno nonsense”. As with every album, Scooter use a wide variety of styles of electronic dance music, mainly trance , sample and cover songs and let out loud spoken chants from HP Baxxter.

The album begins with the intro Ignition , which has classical choirs woven into it, and then moves on to the energetic Maria (I like it loud) , which is an adaptation of the 1997 piece I Like It Loud by techno producer Marshall Masters , better known as Marc Acardipane , represents.

Weekend includes the refrain of the Earth & Fire song of the same name , as well as Strange World by Mike Dierickx aka Push. The chorus is sung high pitched by Scooter's longtime background singer Nikk . Take A Break uses the melody from the American Civil War song When Johnny Comes Marching Home .

Pulstar is a dream house cover of Vangelis ' song of the same name from 1976. The chorus for The Night comes from the 1984 hit of the Italo disco project Valerie Dore .

Roll Baby Roll uses a sample from ABBA's Arrival from 1976. In later versions it was omitted. Level One is an adaptation of the credits track of the computer game Turrican II for the Commodore Amiga .

Liquid Is Liquid is a cover of the track written by Eamon Downes in 1992 and released under the name Liquid .
