music
Keyser Soze is an intro . The name comes from the 1995 film The Usual Suspects , in which the main villain gives himself this pseudonym. The melody for this consists of the five notes that were used in the film Close Encounters of the Third Kind from 1977 in order to be able to communicate with the aliens via synthesizer. In the intro a backward message is hidden: When you play the incomprehensible woman's voice at the end backwards, she says Use Your Dildo (USER your dildo ).
The first regular song, Watch Out, is a typical 90s trance piece . Apart from the distorted title line, there is no voice. Fasterharderscooter then begins again with the loud chanting of HP Baxxters . It contains a sample of the song Come On by Michael Kronenberger & Steffen Harning alias Axis or Milk & Sugar from the mid-1990s. The additional guitar was played by Helge Vogt.
Well Done, Peter mostly covers the song Embargo! by the French duo Philippe Beaureperre & David Toinet alias Embargo! , which came out the same year as Scooters.
Fuck the Millennium is an adaptation of The KLF 's song of the same name, which they released under the name 2k .
The Revolution uses a sample from Who Do I Care by Tobias Menguser & Jürgen Herbarth alias Hermen , which was also released in 1999.
The Learning Process is an adaptation of Tom Wilson's Technocat , while Main Floor covers Art Of Trances Madagascar . One of the Main Floor melodies is from Acid Phase , a 1995 piece by Emmanuel Top .
Kashmir uses excerpts from "Living on the Ceiling", a song by the British synthpop band Blancmange from 1982. HP Baxxter originally started out as a synthpop singer.
