LEDA / PGC 14388 (also NGC 1515A ) is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBb in the constellation Dorado in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 579 million light years from the Milky Way and about 170,000 light years in diameter. It forms an optical pair of galaxies with the galaxy NGC 1515 .
The galaxies IC 2024 and IC 2033 are located in the same area of the sky .
