The Pacific Coliseum is a multi-purpose hall in the Canadian city ​​of Vancouver in British Columbia . It was built in 1967 and is located on North Renfrew Road, on the site of the Pacific National Exhibition .

The arena has 16,281 seats for ice hockey games and from 2001 to 2016 was the home stadium of the Vancouver Giants ice hockey team , which played in the junior league Western Hockey League . Previous users were the Vancouver Canucks ( National Hockey League , 1970-1995) and the Vancouver Blazers ( World Hockey Association , 1973-1975). The figure skating and short track competitions were held here during the 2010 Winter Olympics .
