Pallacanestro Biella , completely Associazione Sportiva pallacanestro Biella , is a basketball club from the Italian Biella . The club has officially competed under the sponsor name Angelico Biella since 2005 , before the professional first team also operated as Lauretana Biella
history
From 2001 to 2013 Biella was represented in the Lega Basket Serie A , the top division in Italy. By moving into the semi-finals of the Italian championship in 2009, Biella took part in the ULEB Eurocup for the first time in the following season . After 12 years of membership in the top division, Biella rose to the second division, the then DNA Gold, in the 2012/13 season and won the DNA Gold / Silver cup competition in 2014, which means that the club competed in the EuroChallenge 2014/15 qualified. Since 2015, the club has been playing in the west of the reorganized series A2.
