Pamela Gidley (born June 11, 1965 in Salem , New Hampshire - † April 16, 2018 in Seabrook , New Hampshire) was an American actress .

Life and accomplishments

Gidley initially worked as a photo model . She was named Most Beautiful Girl In The World by the Wilhelmina Modeling Agency in 1985 .

Gidley made her debut alongside Josh Brolin in the 1986 action film Trashin '- War of the Kids . In 1987, she appeared in the SF action film Cherry 2000 alongside Laurence Fishburne and Melanie Griffith . In the 1988 film drama The Last Song , in which Keanu Reeves also starred, she took on one of the leading roles. She also played a leading role alongside Eric Roberts and Jeff Fahey in the 1994 thriller Freefall - Play With Fire . She appeared in the role of Brigitte Parker in the television series Pretender from 1997 to 2000 . In the comedy Mafia! - A noodle doesn't make spaghetti! from 1998 she starred alongside Christina Applegate and Lloyd Bridges .

Pamela Gidley died on April 16, 2018 at the age of 52 in her home town of Seabrook.

She was married to actor James Lew from 2005 to 2008.
