The Panzer Division Jüterbog was a major unit of the Army of the German Wehrmacht in World War II .

Division history

The Jüterbog tank division was set up on February 28, 1945 on the Jüterbog military training area south of Berlin as an alarm combat group for military districts III and IV . The personnel came from broken units of Army Group Center, replenished by alarm units and troop schools. The division only reached brigade strength.

The unit was marched in the direction of Bautzen and disbanded there on March 5, 1945. The already completed sub-elements of the division were taken over into the reorganization of the 16th Panzer Division .
