During the Habsburg Monarchy, the community belonged to the judicial district of Asch or District Asch and, since 1918, to Czechoslovakia .
After the Munich Agreement , Pastviny was added to the German Reich and belonged to the Asch district until 1945 .
After the expulsion of the German population (1945/46), the number of inhabitants fell drastically. In 1947 only 251 people lived in Pastviny.
In 1976 Pastviny was incorporated into Hranice.
