Patrick Scott DiMarco (born April 30, 1989 in Altamonte Springs , Florida , United States ) is an American football player on the fullback position . He currently plays for the Buffalo Bills in the NFL .
High school
DiMarco went to high school in his native Altamonte Springs . In Altamonte Springs he played in both the offense and defense lines. In addition to American football, he played baseball , basketball and weightlifting .
college
DiMarco went to the University of South Carolina . In his first year he was mainly used in the special teams , but also had a few pass catches and a touchdown . In college, DiMarco was trained not only in the fullback position, but also as a tight end .
NFL
Patrick DiMarco signed a contract with the San Diego Chargers in 2011 as an Undrafted Free Agent . Without playing a game, he went to the Kansas City Chiefs in 2012 . Here he played the last five games of the season. In 2013 he moved to the Atlanta Falcons , where he was one of the permanent staff in the offense. In 2014 and 2015 he played all season games. He also scored his first touchdown in the NFL in 2014. After the 2016 season he was with the Falcons in the Super Bowl LI , which was lost at 28:34. He scored two pass catches for a total of twelve yards in that game. On March 8, 2017, he signed a contract with the Buffalo Bills .
Private
Patrick DiMarco is married and has one son. His uncle Chris DiMarco is a golfer with the PGA of America .
