Patrik Červený (born February 16, 1997 in Náchod ) is a Czech ice hockey goalkeeper who has been under contract with the Schwenninger Wild WIngs since the 2020/21 season .
Career
Patrik Červený made his sporting beginnings with HC Hradec Králové , where he played in the U16 team in the 2011/12 season and later also for the U18 juniors. He showed good performances, so that he moved to the juniors of HC Pardubice in 2013 and stood between the posts for the club for a total of three seasons. In the 2014/15 season he was able to gain experience in three games in the third-highest ice hockey league in the Czech Republic for HC Žďár nad Sázavou. In the third season he was able to gain experience in a game for HC Trutnov, where he conceded six goals and spent the rest of the season with the U20 juniors of HC Pardubice.
For the 2016/17 season he dared to move to Germany to join the Icefighters Leipzig . From then until the 2018/19 season , Červený gained experience in the German ice hockey league , while his service in Essen he was named the best goalkeeper of the season at the end of the season. After this season he moved to the Fischtown Pinguins in Bremerhaven in the German Ice Hockey League (DEL).
After Červený expressed the wish to gain match practice with another club, he switched to the ice pirates Crimmitschau for the remainder of the 2019/20 season . The Czech goalie did not return to Bremerhaven, in April 2020 the Schwenninger Wild Wings signed Patrik.
