Patrik Bodén

Patrik Bodén (born June 30, 1967 in Fryksände ) is a Swedish athlete who was active as a javelin thrower in the 1990s . Starting for IF Göta , he won seven national championships:

With 89.10 m he set a world record in Austin on March 24, 1990 , which he lost ten months later to the British Steve Backley , the first 90 m thrower with the new javelin. However, Boden holds the Swedish record to this day (2006).

He took part in a total of ten European championships, world championships and Olympic Games, but was only able to win one medal:
