Paul-Heinz Schubert

Paul-Heinz Schubert (born September 15, 1913 in Duchow , Randow district , Pomerania ; † January 8, 1991 in Bremen ) was a German businessman and politician ( FDP ) in Bremen. He was a member of the Bremen citizenship .

biography

education and profession

Schubert was a corvette captain (engineer) in the navy during World War II . After the war he worked as a merchant in Bremen. In the 1960s he was the managing director of Bremer Parken GmbH ( BREPARK ).

politics

Schubert was a member of the FDP in Bremen until 1969/70 and was active in the CDU from the end of 1970 .

From 1963 to 1971 he was a member of the Bremen citizenship for around 8 years and worked in various deputations and committees of the citizenship. From 1967 to 1969 he was Werner Ehrich's successor as chairman of the FDP parliamentary group in the citizenry.

When the FDP faction leader made a front against the Senate in the Bremen building land affair on August 27, 1969, before the parliamentary committee of inquiry of the citizens , in which three FDP senators sat, he was voted out of office that same evening. His successor in the office was Harry John (FDP). Schubert was expelled from the FDP parliamentary group in December 1969 and he sued unsuccessfully against it before the state court of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen , which saw "no violation of the Bremen state constitution". From November 1970 Schubert sat in on the CDU parliamentary group.
