Heinrich Welke

Heinrich Welke (born September 2, 1943 in Klein-Wittenberg (now Jaraczewo ), West Prussia ) is a German educator and politician ( FDP ) in Bremen . He was a member of the Bremen citizenship .

biography

education and profession

After fleeing West Prussia in 1945, Welke's family came to the East Harz . Since he was not admitted to high school because of his refusal to join the GDR State Youth Association Young Pioneers , Welke continued attending school in West Berlin from 1958 until he graduated from high school in 1963. In 1968, after completing a degree in business administration at the Free University of Berlin , he worked as a vocational school teacher, first in Lower Saxony and later in Bremen.

In 1995, after having been a member of parliament, he worked as a lecturer at the training and further education center of the Bremen administration and at the Bremen University of Public Administration and from 2001 to 2009 at the Bremen University of Applied Sciences (business department).

politics

Welke has been a member of the FDP since 1969. From 1972 to 1974 he was chairman of the FDP district association Vechta in Südoldenburg . After moving to Bremen, he was from 1976 to 1992 chairman of the FDP district association Bremen left der Weser and member of the state executive committee of the FDP.

In 1975 Grollander became a member of the advisory board for the Bremen- Huchting district . He was a member of the advisory board until 1979.

From 1979 to 1983 and again from 1987 to 1995 he was a member of the Bremen citizenship for around 12 years and worked in various deputations and committees of the citizenship. He represented his parliamentary group primarily in the building deputation from 1979 to 1983 and again from 1987 to 1991.

From 1987 to 1991 he was deputy chairman of the FDP parliamentary group, which had returned to the citizenship, and from 1991 to 1995 chairman of the FDP parliamentary group and financial policy spokesman. He also represented the FDP in the coalition committee of the traffic light coalition of the Senate Wedemeier III

Further memberships

Welke was in 1976 co-founded the Association Links der Weser park in Bremen. He has been chairman of the association since 2009, which creates and maintains a 239-hectare landscape park on the Ochtum between Grolland and Huchting.
