Paul Lambert (special effects artist)

Paul Lambert (born before 1995) is a special effects artist . In 2018, he won the Oscar for best visual effects for Blade Runner 2049 .

Life

At the beginning of his career he worked at Cinecite , where from 1995 he was involved in films such as Lost in Space , Mission: Impossible II and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets . He then moved to Digital Domain , where he worked on Oblivion . He has been with Double Negative since 2015 . Some of his best-known films include The Strange Fall of Benjamin Button , Blade Runner 2049, and Departure for the Moon .
