Pluto Nash - In the fight against the Mafia Moon ( The Adventures of Pluto Nash is) a US-American - Australian comedy by Ron Underwood with Eddie Murphy in the year 2002 . The film is considered one of the biggest flops in film history.

action

The action takes place in a settlement on the moon in 2087. The ex-prisoner Pluto Nash is in the bar that belongs to his friend Tony Francis. Mafioso Gino demands that Francis repay the money he had previously borrowed. Nash pays the debt and the bar is transferred to him.

Rex Krater wants to take over the now flourishing bar. His helpers attack Nash. A combat robot fights on its side.

Nash and the singer Dina Lake flee. They are hiding in a remote building where the people of Krater track them down. Nash, his robot and Lake flee again. You drive to a city known for its casinos, where Nash wants to meet Rex Krater. He thinks of a risky route to Krater's apartment when he is captured by his people.

It turns out that Rex Crater is a clone of Pluto Nash. He was created to serve as the governor on the moon for an entrepreneur. After the takeover, Nash's bar will be converted into a casino. A fight ensues in which Nash kills Krater.

The last scene shows Nash's bar, where Lake works as a singer. Nash hands over the management of the restaurant to his robot.

The film received mostly devastating reviews. On the Rotten Tomatoes website , only 4 of a total of 88 reviews were positive, which corresponds to a rating of 5%. The consensus is that the film is neither “adventurous” nor “funny” and that Eddie Murphy is “like being on autopilot”. The film was also received negatively by the general public, as only 17% of the 32,558 users rated the film positively.
