Paul Locherer

Paul Locherer (* 5. February 1955 in Burgrieden ) is a Baden-Wuerttemberg politicians of the CDU and was a member of the Parliament of Baden-Wuerttemberg .

education and profession

After attending elementary school in Burgrieden and the Progymnasium in Laupheim , Locherer passed his Abitur at the Business High School in Biberach . In 1977 he passed the state examination for the middle administrative service and in 1983 the state examination for the higher administrative service . From 1983 to 1985 he was a treasurer in his home town of Burgrieden. From 1985 to 1986 he was employed as a personnel officer for the city of Weingarten . From 1986 to 2010 Paul Locherer was mayor of the municipality of Amtzell in the Ravensburg district .

Political activity

Locherer has been a member of the CDU parliamentary group in the district council in the Ravensburg district since 1994. He was a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg as a directly elected member of the constituency 68 (Wangen) from the beginning of the 14th electoral term on April 11, 2006 to 2016. With 57.6 percent of the vote, he achieved the best constituency result in the 2006 state election whole country. In the state elections in 2011 , he won the direct mandate with 48.6 percent of the vote.

Managing director of the Ravensburger Wertstofferfassgesellschaft mbH, member of the supervisory board of the economic and innovation development company in the district of Ravensburg (WIR) mbH and member of the regional board of the Baden-Württemberg municipal council.

He is a member of the supervisory board of the Liebenau Foundation and a member of the supervisory board of the Hospital for the Holy Spirit Foundation in Kisslegg . He also works as a lecturer at the administrative school of the Baden-Württemberg municipal council .

Paul Locherer is Roman Catholic . He is married and has three children.
