Paul Salisbury

Paul Salisbury (* 1979 in Jena ) is a German screenwriter .

Live and act

Salisbury was born the son of a German Anglist and an English Germanist . After studying German in Leipzig and film in New York , he attended the German Film and Television Academy Berlin from 2007 to 2010 , where he was trained as a film and television author.

Salisbury has worked as a freelance screenwriter since 2010. In 2012 he wrote the script for Herbert with the heavyweight script . Salisbury acted as screenwriter for the grim-nominated television film The German Child by Umut Dağ . The film Atlas premiered in 2018 , Salisbury was responsible for the script together with his former fellow student David Nawrath . Atlas was nominated for the German Film Award.
