Paul Wirtz

Paul Wirtz (born November 1, 1901 in Rittersdorf , † October 4, 1946 in Bitburg ) was a German lawyer and local politician of the NSDAP .

After studying law and political science at the Universities of Freiburg and Bonn , where he was awarded a Dr. jur. doctorate , he embarked on a civil service career. Among other things, he worked as an assistant judge and worked for the Imperial Customs Administration. In 1932 he joined the NSDAP ( membership number 1,196,298). From July 1933 he was district administrator in the Daun district and was then transferred as district administrator to the district of Brüx in the Reichsgau Sudetenland . There he remained in office until shortly before the Soviet troops marched in in May 1945.
