Peter Eich (District Administrator)
Peter Johann Hubert Eich (born September 4, 1837 in Bödingen near Hennef (Sieg) , † March 14, 1919 in Wiesbaden ) was a German administrative officer and parliamentarian.
Life
Peter Eich studied law at the Universities of Greifswald and Heidelberg . In 1858 he became a member of the Corps Pomerania Greifswald . In the same year he joined the Corps Suevia Heidelberg . After completing his studies and legal clerkship, he entered the Prussian civil service. In 1872 he became district administrator of the district down . In 1876 he moved to the Kleve district as district administrator . There he held the office until his death in 1919.
From 1897 to 1918, Eich was a member of the Rhenish Provincial Parliament .
