John Pauls-Harding (born October 19, 1922 in Berlin , † 1988 in Munich ) was a German actor , cabaret artist , director and voice actor .

biography

After graduating from high school, he studied acting and directing in Berlin. He then appeared as a cabaret artist and director on several cabaret stages, z. B. in the cabaret of comedians in Berlin and in the bonbonniere in Munich. As a theater actor he played a. a. at the Münchner Kammerspiele .

Pauls-Harding made his feature film debut in Erich Engel's comedy Our Miss Doctor as early as 1940 . He played under the direction of Josef von Báky in the drama Annelie and under the direction of Kurt Hoffmann in I will carry you on your hands , next to Curd Jürgens in A little summer melody and next to Heinz Rühmann in Quax in Africa , but also in propaganda films such as My life for Ireland and Karl Ritter's Stukas .
