Paz de la Huerta (born September 3, 1984 in New York City , New York ) is an American actress .

Life

De la Huerta was born the daughter of a Spaniard and an American. She took acting classes at SoHo Children's Acting Studio as a child and made her acting debut in the comedy Love in Any Relationship (1998). A year later she appeared in Lasse Hallström 's God's Work & Devil's Contribution with Tobey Maguire . Her next appearances were in the tragic comedy On the Road with Boys (2001) with Drew Barrymore and in the drama Chelsea Walls (2001) directed by Ethan Hawke . This was followed by a part in Nur mit Dir - A Walk to Remember (2002). In the film drama The Guitar (2008) directed by Amy Redford , she took on a larger role on the side of Saffron Burrows . From 2010 to 2011 she was in the hit television series Boardwalk Empire as Lucy Danziger on the side of Nucky Thompson, whose role was played by Steve Buscemi . She played the leading role in the horror thriller Nurse 3D , published in 2013 .

In 2013 she posed for Playboy.
