Per-Åge Skrøder (born August 4, 1978 in Sarpsborg ) is a Norwegian ice hockey player who has been under contract with MODO Hockey Örnsköldsvik in the Swedish Elitserien since 2006 .

Career

Per-Åge Skrøder began his career as a hockey player at Sparta Sarpsborg , for which he was active in the 1994/95 season in the Eliteserien . He then played for two years for their league rivals Lillehammer IK before returning to Sparta Sarpsborg for another season. In the summer of 1998 the Norwegian signed a contract with Västra Frölunda HC in the Swedish Elitserien , for which he played the following two years. After he was on the ice for Linköpings HC in the 2000/01 season , Skrøder played from 2001 to 2005 for a total of four years for HV 71 Jönköping , with whom he became Swedish champion for the first time in his career in 2004 .

Before the 2005/06 season Skrøder was signed by Södertälje SK , which he left after just one year to play for MODO Hockey Örnsköldsvik , with whom he became Swedish champion for the second time in 2007. Especially in the 2008/09 season he was able to convince at MODO, when he received both the Håkan Loob Trophy as the top scorer in the Elitserien and was the top scorer in the league.

International

For Norway , Skrøder took part in the U18 European Junior Championship in 1995 and the U20 Junior B World Championship in 1997 . In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad at the B World Championships in 2002 , 2003 and 2004 and at the A World Championships in 1999 , 2000 , 2006 , 2008 , 2009 and 2011, the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver .
