Peter Freiberg
Peter Freiberg (born January 7, 1954 ) is a German screenwriter , radio presenter , singer , cabaret artist and actor from Dortmund .
Life
In the 1970s, Peter Freiberg worked at the Freizeit Zentrum West (FZW) in Dortmund. He had good contact with the local music scene, including Fred Ape from Ape, Beck and Brinkmann . In 1979 he was the drummer and singer with the band Cochise .
In 1980 he founded the band Die Conditors , which from 1985 was called Freiberg and the Conditors . The band had a few hits in the 1980s and played in the ZDF hit parade in 1984 .
In 1995 and 1996 Freiberg produced two three-minute comedy series for the WDR under the titles Daily Soap , Alle gegen die Mafia and Vom Winde bewrtrt . The latter also appeared on two CDs. In 1986 Freiberg was an actor in an episode of the crime series Tatort and in 1997 played a bartender in the TV thriller Post Mortem with Friedrich von Thun . Until 1997 he moderated at EinsLive ( WDR ), where he was involved in the production of Eins Live Ponyhof , a radio comedy series.
Freiberg received the Adolf Grimme Prize in 2000 for the television comedy Ritas Welt , which was broadcast on RTL's program from 1999 . In the same year, the team of authors and producers from Ritas Welt was awarded the German Television Prize for the best series. In addition, he developed and wrote the write orphans RTL series Alles Atze which was awarded the German Comedy Award. In 2009 he and Thomas Koch received the German Television Award for Der Lehrer in the category “best series”.
Since 2010 Freiberg has been singing in the band "The Buh", among others with Peter Jureit from the Conditors.
