Peter Haffner

Peter Haffner ( pseudonym : Louis P. Laskey , born January 29, 1953 in Zurich ) is a Swiss journalist and writer .

Life

Peter Haffner completed a degree in philosophy and history at the University of Zurich . He then worked as a freelance journalist for Swiss, German and Austrian newspapers and from 1991 to 2002 as editor of the monthly magazine NZZ Folio of the Neue Zürcher Zeitung . He is also the author of literary texts.

In 1988 he took part in the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition in Klagenfurt . Haffner was a correspondent for the supplement Das Magazin of the Zürcher Tages-Anzeiger in California until 2014 . Today he works as a freelance author.
