Peter Hartlich (* 1944 ; † 1998 in Bremen ) was a German architect .

biography

Hartlich studied to 1963-1969 Architecture at the Technical University of Braunschweig ( Braunschweig School ) at the ETH Zurich (Bernhard Hoesli) and at the Technical University of Stuttgart . In Braunschweig he met his college friend and later office partner Harm Haslob .

Hartlich founded the Haslob and Hartlich office in Bremen in 1970, which became the Zill, Haslob and Hartlich office in 1971, the Haslob, Hartlich and Schütz office in 1976 , and the Haslob, Hartlich and Partner office in 1995 . The office created formative buildings in Bremen . Several buildings, such as the school building projects, emerged as early works with a strong late-modern and post-modern character . The architecture of his subsequent buildings fit into the context of modern modernism . The office continued after his untimely death.

Hartlich was married. One hobby was painting and drawing, etc. a. in Italy in the circle “The painting four”, with the Bremen architects Harm Haslob, Helmut Rabien and Gert Schulze . He was buried in the Riensberg cemetery in Bremen.
