Harm Haslob (born February 15, 1942 in Stralsund ) is a German architect .
biography
Haslob is the son of building director Hermann Haslob, head of the Bremen-Nord building authority, who was influenced by the Stuttgart school during his architecture studies . The family lived in Bremen - St. Magnus . The son attended the Gerhard-Rohlfs-Gymnasium in Vegesack until 1961 and then completed his military service in the German Navy . From 1963 to 1969 he studied architecture at the Technical University of Braunschweig ( Braunschweiger Schule ), at the ETH Zurich (with Bernhard Hoesli) and at the Technical University of Stuttgart . In Braunschweig he met his college friend and later office partner Peter Hartlich (1944–1998).
Haslob founded the Haslob and Hartlich office in Bremen in 1970 for the Zill, Haslob and Hartlich office , in 1976 for the Haslob, Hartlich and Schütz office , in 1995 for the Haslob, Hartlich and Partner office , then in 2002 for the Haslob, Kruse and Partner office and in 2011 for office Haslob, Kruse and Bode was. The office has created formative buildings in Bremen in over 40 years . Several buildings, such as the school building projects, emerged as early works with a strong late-modern and post-modern character . The architecture of his subsequent buildings fit into the context of modern modernism .
From 1990 to 1996 he was regional chairman of the Association of German Architects (BDA) in Bremen.
Haslob is married to Helga Haslob; both have two children.
