Kitzladen parish church
The Roman Catholic parish church Kitzladen stands in the village Kitzladen in the municipality Loipersdorf-Kitzladen in the district of Oberwart in Burgenland . It is consecrated to St. James and belongs to the Pinkafeld dean's office in the Eisenstadt diocese . The building is under monument protection ( list entry ).

The church stands above the village on the western slope.
history
There was a parish in Kitzladen even before the Reformation . The present church was donated by the Esterházy -Gleisbach family and built in 1844. The exterior was restored in 1977.

The late classicist village church has a retracted choir and a facade tower integrated to the west with an onion helmet and lantern .
- Church interior
The three-bay nave is barrel vaulted . In the tower yoke are a vestibule and a bell room. This is followed by the three-axis gallery under a narrow barrel vault. The parapet is bulged. The eastern yokes are square vaulted . In between are doubled belt arches that rest on wide pilasters . The round triumphal arch is preferred. There is a square vault above the choir yoke, and bowls and stitch caps above the apse .
Furnishing
The high and side altars are neo-Romanesque and were created in 1896 by the Heckenast company in Szombathely . The pulpit dates from the 19th century and has four seated figures of the evangelists. The baptismal font with a sculptural group of Anabaptists is from the 19th century. Two wooden figures in an old version represent a Madonna and Child and St. John Nepomuk . The Madonna figure dates from around 1700, the figure of St. John Nepomuk from the first half of the 18th century. You stand at the triumphal arch.
