Parish Church Neuerlaa
The Neuerlaa parish church is located in the 23rd district of Liesing in the city of Vienna . The Roman Catholic parish church of St. Dominikus Savio belongs to the City Deanery 23 in the Vicariate Vienna City of the Archdiocese of Vienna .
history
In 1931 an emergency church was established under the patronage of “St. Corona am Spitz ”as a branch of the parish Atzgersdorf am Erlaaer Spitz. On May 1, 1954, the church became a branch of the parish church Inzersdorf-Neustift . After the purchase of a piece of land, the groundbreaking ceremony for a new church in Welingergasse took place on July 18, 1960. As with the Siebenhirten parish church, the plan comes from Herbert Schmid. The church was consecrated on September 23, 1962 by Archbishop- Coadjutor Franz Jachym . On January 1st, 1975, the expositur was raised to a separate parish.
