biography

Brown drove the first FIS races in the 2006/2007 season and competed in the Nor-Am Cup for the first time next winter - initially without any major success. In the course of the 2009/10 season , his results improved noticeably, he was able to score regularly and achieved his first top 10 results. In 2010 he was used for the first time in a junior world championship , where his best result was 14th place in the giant slalom. The next year at the Junior World Championships 2011 in Crans-Montana he was not worse than 14th in any race, with which he won the bronze medal in the combined classification of slalom, giant slalom and downhill. In the Nor-Am Cup he reached the first podium places in the 2010/11 season .

In 2011 Brown was inducted into the Canadian national team. He was able to improve further in the 2011/12 season in the Nor-Am Cup and celebrated his first victory on March 12, 2012 in the giant slalom in Stowe . He finished fifth in the overall, giant slalom and super combination rankings. From January 2012 Brown came to his first appearances in the World Cup , but has not yet reached the points in any race. On November 21, 2014, Brown won a European Cup race for the first time . He won his first World Cup points on March 8, 2014 with 24th place in the giant slalom in Kranjska Gora , his best result so far is 21st place in the giant slalom in Sölden on October 26th, 2014. At the 2015 World Cup , he surprisingly won the silver medal in the team competition .

In the World Cup, Brown was only able to classify himself sporadically in the points, which is why he was mainly used in the Nor-Am Cup. In the 2016/17 season he won two Nor-Am giant slaloms, and also won the overall and the giant slalom scores.

In the summer of 2019, he announced his retirement from active competitive sports.
