Philipp Lambert from Beauvryé

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Philipp Lambert von Beauvryé († after 1796) was a Prussian colonel and the last chief of Garrison Regiment No. 12 .

Life

Philipp Lambert was a member of the family of the Prussian general Bernhard von Beauvryé . He served as an officer in the Prussian army , was a prime lieutenant , later a captain and company commander in the 14th Fusilier Regiment and, as a lieutenant colonel , became the last chief of garrison regiment 12 on June 14, 1787, and the city of Hanover also complained in 1787 about Beauvryé.

Since the garrison of his regiment was in Emden and the same was divided into infantry regiments No. 10 , 45 and 48 with the establishment of depot battalions in 1788 , it can be assumed that Colonel Beauvryé, chief of three depot battalions in Emden, of 1792 Received marching orders to occupy court in the Principality of Bayreuth , about the same thing. Beauvryé took part in the First Coalition War . As a colonel and commander of a depot battalion, he was still mentioned in the ranking in 1796 .
