Pia Baresch (born January 9, 1974 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actress .

Life

Her father Helmut Baresch Hernández is Colombian, which is why Pia spent the first five years of her life in Bogotá . When she started school, the family moved, on the advice of her Austrian mother, to Berndorf in Lower Austria, where Pia Baresch graduated from high school. She then moved to Vienna to study acting and take singing lessons. She lives with her husband, singer and actor Peter Lesiak, and their son in Vienna.

Baresch became known through various television productions, such as the ORF / ZDF series SOKO Vienna , in which she played Lieutenant Colonel Elisabeth Wiedner in the first season of 2005. From 2010 to 2012 she played in the ZDF series Der Bergdoktor on the side of Hans Sigl , Heiko Ruprecht and Mark Keller Dr. Lena Imhoff.
