Pick Up (award)
The Bavarian Rock Prize PICK UP , known as the Bavarian Pop Culture Prize from 2017 , is an award that has been presented since 1991 by the Rock.Büro SÜD , the Association for Pop Culture in Bavaria (until 2011 under the name Arbeitsgemeinschaft Bayerischer Musikinitiativen) and the Rockantenne broadcaster . It recognizes initiatives or individuals who have made a contribution to the Bavarian rock and pop music scene. The prize is undoped and is awarded as a challenge prize in the form of a white and blue electric guitar , which has the shape of the outline of the state of Bavaria . The jury includes politicians, music editors and representatives of the music industry.
