Pidluschne ( Ukrainian Підлужне ; Russian Подлужное Podluschnoje , Polish Podłużne ) is a village in the geographical center of the Ukrainian Rivne Oblast with about 770 inhabitants (2001).
Geographical location
The village is located at an altitude of 173 m at the confluence of the 28 km long Samtschysko ( Замчисько ) in the Horyn , a 659 km long right tributary of the Pripyat , 12 km northwest of the Kostopil district center and about 47 km north of the Rivne Oblast center .
history
The village, first mentioned in writing in 1577, was in the Volhynian Voivodeship of the aristocratic republic of Poland until the third division of Poland and then came under the Russian Empire , where it was in the Volhynia governorate . As a result of the First World War and the ensuing Polish-Soviet War , the municipality was from 1921 in the Volyn Voivodeship of the Second Polish Republic . In September 1939, the municipality was initially occupied by Soviet troops until it was occupied by Germany on July 5, 1941 and attached to the Reichskommissariat Ukraine , the general district of Volhynia and Podolia. On January 14, 1944, Pidluschne was again conquered by the Red Army and incorporated into the Ukrainian SSR within the Soviet Union . After its disintegration in 1991, the village became part of the now independent Ukraine.

Pidluschne is the administrative center of the 86.43 km² district council of the same name in Kostopil district , to which the villages Velyka Lyubascha ( Велика Любаша , ⊙ ) with about 950 inhabitants, Korchivja ( Корчів'я , ⊙ ) with about 600 inhabitants, Kosmatschiwja ( Космачів , ⊙ ) with about 250 inhabitants and Trubyzi ( Трубиці , ⊙ ) with about 350 inhabitants.
