Podlesí (German Podlesy , also Podles ) is a district of the city of Holice in the Czech Republic . It is located two kilometers north of Holice and belongs to the Okres Pardubice .
geography
Podlesí is located by the Poběžovický creek on the Třebechovická tabule ( Hohenbruck table ). An extensive forest area extends to the north. To the east rises the Kamenec (328 m nm), in the southeast the Homole (264 m nm). To the north-west of the Hluboký potok are the Hluboký rybník and Blažek ponds. To the west of the village runs the state road I / 35 / E 442 between Hradec Králové and Holice.
Neighboring towns are Vysoké Chvojno in the north, Poběžovice u Holic in the northeast, Kamenec in the east, Staré Holice in the southeast, Pod Homolí and Holice in the south, Podhráz and Horní Ředice in the southwest, Drahoš in the west and Hluboký and Chvojenec in the northwest.
history
The Podlesy settlement was established in the middle of the 19th century. The first written mention of the place took place in 1854 as a district of the city of Holice in the judicial district of Holitz . From 1868 the settlement belonged to the political district of Pardubitz .
In 1869 Podlesy had 158 inhabitants and consisted of 35 houses. In 1900 there were 228 people in Podlesy , in 1910 there were 322. In 1924 the place name was changed to Podlesí . In 1930 the village had 377 inhabitants. In 1949 Podlesí was assigned to the Okres Holice, since 1960 the place has belonged again to the Okres Pardubice . In the 2001 census, there were 202 people in Podlesí's 85 houses.
Community structure
The district Podlesí consists of the basic settlement units Pod Homolí and Podlesí-Kamenec. The holiday home area Hluboký also belongs to Podlesí.
Podlesí is part of the cadastral district of Holice v Čechách.
