action

The gang of thieves around Rosi Voss, Keule and the leader Bernd are clever at their break-ins. The property is always examined beforehand, for example one of the burglars responded to an ad from a lady who wanted to sell her silver cutlery and looked at the cutlery and the apartment. Then the resident's bag is stolen while shopping and the house key is exchanged for another key ring. The bag is handed over to the information desk in the store, which then uses the ID to call out the owner. By the time the exchanged key is noticed, the three intruders have long since searched the apartment for valuables and have fled. In the case of Rita Geier, the perpetrators proceed in the same way and appear as supposed plumbers in the apartment, which means that they do not arouse suspicion among the neighbors. On the other hand, when they break into Frau Hirte's apartment, they meet her sick granddaughter Isa, who questions the supposed doctors. Bernd gives the girl an overdose of sleeping pills before the trio go to work. Keule, who is a shift worker, finally reports anonymously to the police from the workplace, and Isa can just about be saved.

Bernd, as the intellectual head of the trio, decides to take a break after the sixth break in a row. Rosi and Keule are more against it, but they agree. The three of them stored the stolen goods in the summer house of the jeweler and goldsmith Friedrich Bader. Bader is Rosi's boss and does not use the house in winter. When he still wants to check that everything is okay, he comes across the stolen things. He calls the police, who are now watching the house. Sergeant Lutz Subras is there, other police officers are waiting in the patrol car. The trio, however, have long since noticed that their hiding place has been discovered. You notify one of Bader's neighbors that someone is in Bader's house. When the neighbor, who has a key to Bader's house, and an acquaintance look up, Lutz Subras mistakes them for the burglars and arrests them. While Subras and other police officers lead the two away, Bernd and Keule take a large part of the stored loot. Oberleutnant Peter Fuchs and Lieutenant Vera Arndt are embarrassed that they have been shown. However, you now know that the perpetrator must come from Friedrich Bader's environment. Only he and the ABV knew that the police had discovered the hiding place. Isa tells the investigators that two men and a "chic woman" were the burglars. The policemen lay a bait.

The old Ms. Bernhardt appears at Friedrich Bader's home with a valuable piece of jewelry to have the closure repaired. Rosi Voss takes the piece and appears a little later at Ms. Bernhardt's to bring a new repair receipt, since the old one has been lost. She takes a close look at the apartment, furnished with antiques and valuable pictures. A little later she tries to convince Bernd to break into the apartment. The rejects rigorously. Rosi has visited Bernd at his place of work - he works in his father's bakery - and now sees Bernd being abused by his father for bringing his love affair with him to the bakery. She loses respect for Bernd and now persuades Keule to carry out the break-in with her. In their preparations, every step is monitored by the police. They steal Ms. Bernhardt's handbag in a market. However, Keules' attempt to steal an escape car fails. But Bernd saves her with his car and wants to bring the break-in to an end successfully. However, he distrusts the matter and has a boy in Frau Bernhardt's apartment fetch a brown shopping bag for the supposedly handicapped Rosi. Peter Fuchs and Vera Arndt, who are waiting in the apartment, hide in the hallway. When the boy leaves the apartment with a large shopping bag, he is stopped by a resident who becomes suspicious of Rosi's description. When the boy and the tenant appear in front of the door, the trio flees. Peter Fuchs and Vera Arndt initiate the pursuit and the trio can be caught soon after. All three are arrested, and Mrs. Bernhard receives a large bouquet of flowers from Peter Fuchs and Vera Arndt as thanks for their cooperation.
