Walter Lendrich
Walter Lendrich (born May 27, 1912 in Arnstadt , † July 15, 1999 in Koethen ) was a German film and theater actor and radio play speaker.
Life
After attending drama schools in Weimar, Erfurt and Leipzig, Lendrich first worked on the theaters in Erfurt, Gießen, Braunschweig, Hanover and Göttingen before he was engaged at the German Theater in Berlin in the early 1950s . Here Lendrich excelled especially in batch roles .
Simultaneously with his move to Berlin, Lendrich worked in DEFA films and later in productions for GDR television , in which he was often seen in the role of curious pensioners. Lendrich spent the end of his life in a nursing home in Koethen.
