Gert Hänsch

Gert Hänsch (born May 14, 1922 in Dresden ; † May 3, 1984 in East Berlin ) was a German actor and radio play speaker .

Life

Gert Hänsch received his training as an actor from 1951 to 1954 at the Leipzig Theater Academy . Afterwards he had engagements at the Theater der Junge Welt in Leipzig, at the theaters in Greifswald , Frankfurt (Oder) , Freiberg , at the Berliner Ensemble and from 1972 to 1984 at the Theater der Freunde in Berlin. In addition to his theater work, he also worked in front of the camera for film and television. He worked as a radio play speaker for the radio.

Gert Hänsch was married to the actress Ulrike Hanke-Hänsch and lived in Berlin. He found his final resting place in the Berlin Central Cemetery Friedrichsfelde .
