Ponteyraud is a village and a former French municipality with 43 inhabitants (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Dordogne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Périgueux and the Canton of Ribérac . In addition to the main settlement, it also included the hamlets of L'Allée, La Blérétie, Le Brugailler, Chez Cady, Les Chevrons, Le Claud des Bœufs, La Côte, Les Fontaines Froides, Le Maine, Au Moulin, Le Pont du Bâtard, Le Puyzillou, Les Renardières and Le Roc de Bonnet.
With effect from January 1, 2017, the former municipalities of Ponteyraud and La Jemaye were merged into a commune nouvelle called La Jemaye-Ponteyraud . The former municipalities have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are located in La Jemaye.
