Popowo [ pɔˈpɔvɔ ] ( German Poppow , Kashubian : Pòpòwò ) is a village in Gmina Cewice , in the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship . It is located 10 km northeast of Cewice (Zewitz) , 11 km southeast of Lębork ( Lauenburg ) and 52 km west of Gdansk .
Until 1945 Poppow formed a rural community in the district of Lauenburg i. Pom. in the Prussian province of Pomerania . Occalitz also belonged to the community .
