description

The gothic hall church , which was made of quarry stone in 1711 and consecrated on October 14, 1714, was open to stone and originally had a recessed choir tower in the west. The nave and the church tower are provided with corner stones . In 1713 the church was rebuilt. It received a three-sided closed choir in the east. The nave is covered with a gable roof. The tower has a hood on which a lantern sits, which is crowned by a tower ball . The ground floor of the church tower is vaulted with a groin . The uniform interior was given three-sided two-story galleries and boxes in the 18th century . The baptismal font is from 1904. Only remains of the original version from the beginning of the 16th century with a keel-arched frieze are preserved. The pulpit altar dates from the 2nd half of the 18th century. It has two side entrances. However, his painted polygonal basket is from the end of the 17th century. The church furnishings also include a large-format painting in the manner of Jakob Samuel Beck from the mid-18th century. It shows a crucified Christ and Mary against a landscape background. The organ with 23 registers , divided into 2 manuals and pedal , was built in 1765 by Franciscus Volckland .
