Porte-Joie is a former French commune in the department of Eure in the region of Normandy . It belonged to the arrondissement of Les Andelys and the canton of Val-de-Reuil . The inhabitants are called Porte-Joyeux .
With effect from January 1, 2018, Porte-Joie was merged with Tournedos-sur-Seine to form the Commune nouvelle Porte-de-Seine . Porte-Joie is a commune déléguée with 108 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) within the new municipality.

Porte-Joie is located about 25 kilometers south-southeast of Rouen on the Seine . Porte-Joie is surrounded by the neighborhoods of Le Vaudreuil in the north and north-west, Val-de-Reuil in the north, Tournedos-sur-Seine in the north and north-east, Connelles in the east and north-east, Herqueville in the east and south-east, Andé in the south, and Saint -Pierre-du-Vauvray to the south and south-west and Saint-Étienne-du-Vauvray to the west.
