Potůčník (German Lauterbach ) is a district of the city of Hanušovice in the Czech Republic . It is located three kilometers east of Hanušovice and belongs to the Okres Šumperk .

geography

Potůčník is located on the left side of the Branná ( Mittelbordbach ) in a side valley by the Potůčník brook in the Hannsdorfer Bergland . To the west rises the Pršná ( Lauterberg , 642 m), to the east the Žárovec ( Brandberg , 793 m) and south of the Křížový vrch ( Kreuzberg , 691 m) and the Červený vrch ( Rothenberg , 755 m). The railway line from Hanušovice to Głuchołazy and the state road from Hanušovice to Jeseník run along the Branná to the north of the village . The only way to get to the village is via a driveway from the station area.

Neighboring towns are the station settlement Potůčník in the north, Pusté Žibřidovice in the northeast, Horní Bohdíkov in the east, Žárová in the southeast, Prameny in the south, Kopřivná in the southwest, Holba in the west and Hynčice nad Moravou in the northwest.

history

Luterbach was founded around 1567. The first written mention of the village belonging to Velké Losiny was in 1570. The hoof register from 1677 shows 22 properties for the village. In 1834, 251 people lived in the 40 houses in Lauterbach.

After the abolition of patrimonial Lauterbach / Hluboké formed from 1850 a district of the municipality Wüst Seibersdorf in the district of Mährisch Schönberg and judicial district of Wiesenberg . In 1888 the railway from Hannsdorf to Ziegenhals started operating. In 1890 Lauterbach / Hloboké still consisted of 40 houses and had 320 inhabitants. In 1900, 333 people lived in the now 41 houses. There was a one-class village school in the village. It was around this time that the Czech name Potůčník began to be used . After the Munich Agreement , the place was added to the German Reich in 1938 and belonged to the Mährisch Schönberg district until 1945 . After the Second World War, the German residents were expelled . In 1949 the place was incorporated as part of Pusté Žibřidovice to Jindřichov and in 1953 Potůčník was umgemeindet to Hanušovice . In 1950 only 47 people lived in 40 houses in the village. In 1991 the population was 111, they lived in 16 houses. In 2001 the village consisted of 9 houses in which 26 people lived.

Attractions

  • Chapel of the Holy Apostles John and Paul, consecrated in 1893, renovated 1992–1997 (inauguration June 28, 1997), burned out in 2007, repaired fire damage in 2014–2015.
  • Wooden pilgrimage chapel of St. Anna, northeast of the village in a wooded cut, rebuilt in 1991.
