President Evil is a German band from Bremen .

history

In December 2002, shortly after the band was founded, the band began to attract attention through regional and national appearances. After winning the “Live in Bremen” contest, the band went to the renowned Stage One Studio in 2004 to record under professional conditions and under the direction of Andy Classen . The demo EP Evil Goes to Hollywood was released in-house and other gigs followed throughout Germany. In the summer of 2005 AFM Records became aware of the band at a festival and offered to work together.

President Evil has been under contract with the German label AFM Records (including Doro , Tankard , Masterplan , Destruction ) since the end of 2005 and released her debut album Trash 'N' Roll Assholeshow in April 2006 .

The recordings for the second album were completed in September 2007 under the direction of Guido Lucas . Andy Classen did the mastering. The album was released in January 2008 under the title Hell in A Box .

In 2013 the new album Back From Hell's Holiday was released worldwide through Firefield Records . Chris Birx from Motorjesus and Dan Nelson, the former singer of Anthrax , could be won as guest vocalists .

style

Their style is described as "Thrash 'N' Roll" and contains elements of punk , stoner rock and thrash metal . Their style is based on bands like Down , Motörhead , Kyuss , Spiritual Beggars and Slayer .

Tours

In addition to tours with Motorjesus , Betzefer and Koroded , the European tour with the American industrial legend Ministry marks the band's highlight so far.

In spring 2007 a tour with the American shock rockers Gwar followed . Furthermore, there have been support shows for bands such as Holy Moses , Smoke Blow , Exodus , Ektomorf , Disbelief , Fear Factory , Genepool , Tankard and Dew-Scented since their foundation . In February 2008 President Evil opened for Volbeat on their European tour.

In November 2014 there was a small tour of Germany with Motorjesus and Gloomball .
