Founded in 1979, the Primera Division de Honor (today: Liga Nacional de Fútbol ) is the top division of the Federación Ecuatoguineana de Fútbol , the national football association of Equatorial Guinea . The record winner is Sony de Elá Nguema with 16 championships.

mode

The league plays in two groups, Región Continental (Bata) and Región Insular (Malabo) , each with 8 teams in the first and second leg (14 games in total) in the regular season. The three best teams in each group play a final round with a return leg and determine the champions after ten more matches.
