The Primmerbach is a 10.1 km long and orographically left tributary of the Irsen in the Rhineland-Palatinate Eifelkreis Bitburg-Prüm .

The Primmerbach rises about one kilometer southwest of Heckhuscheid at an altitude of 529 m above sea level. NHN . The source is located in the Riesterfenn on the southeast slope of the Dackscheidberg ( 569.4 m above sea level ) in the area of the local community Großkampenberg and about 1400 m southeast of the border with Belgium . The Primmerbach initially flows in a southerly direction between the local communities Großkampenberg in the west and Kesfeld in the east. After about five kilometers, east of Leidenborn , it first swings to the southwest in order to circle Herzfeld in a wide arc and in a northwest direction flowing to 437 m above sea level. NHN to flow into the Irsen coming there from the north.
The height difference between the origin and the mouth of about 92 meters results in a mean bed slope of 9.1 ‰.

The Primmerbach drains a 16.18 km² catchment area via Irsen, Our , Sauer , Moselle and Rhine to the North Sea .
