Priscilla Frederick (born February 14, 1989 in New York City ) is an Antiguan high jumper .

Athletic career

Priscilla Frederick gained her first international experience at the Commonwealth Games 2014 in Glasgow , where she was eliminated from the qualification with 1.81 m. Then she finished fourth at the Pan American Sports Festival in Mexico City with 1.80 m and won the silver medal behind Levern Spencer from St. Lucia at the Central America and Caribbean Games (CAC) in Xalapa with 1.83 m . The following year, she won the silver medal behind Spencer at the Pan American Games in Toronto with a new national record of 1.91 m, as well as at the NACAC Championships in San José with 1.88 m. So she qualified for the World Championships in Beijing , where she was eliminated with 1.85 m in the qualification . In 2016 she took part in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , where she was also eliminated from the qualification with a height of 1.89 m .

In 2018, she again took part in the Commonwealth Games in the Australian Gold Coast , where she was fifth with a jump of 1.87 m. In August, she came fourth at the CAC games in Barranquilla with 1.82 m.

At the Pan American Games in Lima in 2019 , she won the silver medal with a jump of 1.87 m.

Frederick graduated from St. John's University in New York with a degree in communications .
