Pronar is a Polish manufacturer of trailers , agricultural machinery , recycling systems and vehicle components . It also produced its own tractors between 1992 and 2018 .
history
Pronar was originally founded in 1988 as a pure trading company for the export of Polish food to the Soviet Union . Due to the growing demand for agricultural vehicles after the end of the planned economy , the company, which was always in private hands, began assembling Belarusian tractors in 1990 , which were sold on the domestic market. After all components were initially imported from Belarus , the following year the company began to manufacture various components and equipment itself or to have them made by Polish manufacturers. As a result, Pronar changed from a pure assembly company to a manufacturer of its own products in 1992.
Pronar has been manufacturing rims for commercial vehicles up to a maximum speed of 40 km / h since 1997 . In cooperation with various tire manufacturers , the company also offers complete wheels and has been manufacturing its own hydraulic and compressed air components since 1998. As early as 2000, they started building municipal machines. In addition to the usual agricultural machinery in special designs for municipal operations, Pronar now has sweepers, snow shovels and sand spreaders on offer. In 2001, plastic vehicle accessories were added to the range for the first time . Today, engine hoods, fenders, operating consoles, seats, steering wheels, armrests, carpets and floor mats are primarily developed and produced in a dedicated research and development department. If there is free production capacity, paddling pools or shower cubicles are also manufactured and external orders for special components are carried out.
Pronar has been manufacturing its own trailers for agricultural use since at least 2001 and is one of the leading suppliers of this product segment in Central and Eastern Europe , ahead of its Polish competitor Wielton . The tractor series P5 and P7 in the performance class between 80 and 100 hp , which were first introduced in 2006 and developed in-house, have proven themselves above all abroad. Both series established Pronar's market position as the leading tractor manufacturer in Poland alongside competitors such as Ursus . In 2009, the company expanded its product range to include trailers for road vehicles , which puts it in direct competition with Polish competitors such as Wielton , Feber and Zasław .
In 2010 the company significantly modernized and expanded its production processes. The following year, iron and steel products from Polish and other metallurgical plants of various sizes and qualities began to be traded. In addition to the main plant, Pronar has been operating two further assembly plants since 2012, which were expanded in 2015. In addition to production, Pronar is also once again dedicated to wholesale and retail. A fuel and mineral oil wholesaler operates in Białystok , from which a tank and service station network in north-eastern Poland is supplied. Pronar is also active as a catering and accommodation company in the petrol stations .

Pronar produces a total of 26 different tractor models between 35 and 264 hp in eight series. Imported Belarus and Kioti tractors are also on offer . Front loaders are produced and sold both for our own tractor models and for third-party makes .

Municipal technology

There are snow and Kilverbakken in working widths between 1.50 m and 3.00 m and pivotable with all major farming systems offered. For this purpose, municipal technology offers salt spreaders , snow blowers , road sweepers and flail mulchers with an extension arm, loppers and trenchers.
Forage harvesters
Pronar manufactures disc mowers for front and rear attachment with working widths from 2.10 m to 3.80 m for single machines and in the offered mower combination with a total working width of 8.10 m. Two rotary tedder models with working widths of 5.30 m and 7.70 m as well as single and two-rotor rakes with working widths of 3.00 m to 8.00 m are also produced. The range of grassland machines also includes round balers and bale wrappers .
