The Prunelli is a river in France that runs in the Corse-du-Sud department on the island of Corsica .

The Prunelli rises in the Regional Natural Park of Corsica , on the northern flank of Punta Capannella (2250 m), in the municipality of Bastelica . Its source lake is the Lac de Bracca at an altitude of 2,085 m. It flows through the Lac de Vitalacca at an altitude of 1,750 meters, the mountain forest above Bastelica and the center of this village. Below Bastelica it flows through the pristine canyon landscape of the Gorges du Prunelli . At Tolla it is dammed up to the Lac de Tolla . This serves to supply the city of Ajaccio with water . The Prunelli generally drains in a south-westerly direction and flows into the Mediterranean after 44 kilometers at the municipal boundary of Grosseto-Prugna and Ajaccio in the bay of Ajaccio of the same name .
