The village is located in Western Pomerania on the right of the Rega , about six kilometers north-northwest of the city of Labes ( Łobez ). The Rega flows south-west not far from the town.

history

From the Middle Ages until the 19th century, the place belonged to the Borkonen who owned a manor here . In 1838 the Piepenhagen estate came to the economist Hell († 1859), and in 1860 to his son Hermann. Piepenhagen had a Protestant church and a school.

Until 1945 Piepenhagen formed a rural community in the Regenwalde district of the Prussian province of Pomerania . Apart from Piepenhagen there were no other places to live in the community.

Towards the end of the Second World War , the region was occupied by the Red Army in the spring of 1945 . A little later Piepenhagen was placed under Polish administration. As long as they did not flee, the residents were expelled in the following period . Piepenhagen received the New Polish name Przyborze .
