The Belgian Ring 9 is a motorway with a total length of 5 km, which runs around the city of Charleroi as an urban motorway and is known as the inner ring.

The R9 is designed like a motorway ring. The special thing about the R9, however, is that the route is only passable in three lanes counterclockwise. The route leads around the city on some bridges and through some tunnels.
